For a class assignment, undergraduate students were required to write a feasibility and recommendation report to meet a need of either a business or personal connection they had. In the present sample, the student chose to write his report for his parents, on the topic of whether or not they should purchase solar panels for their home. The report recommends against purchasing them, a conclusion which the student’s parents actually ended up following.
