Analyze each work and compare it to the other using the following guiding questions:<\/p>\n<p>For each work, analyze purpose:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>What do you think the purpose is?<\/li>\n<li>What specific aspects or elements of the work suggest the purpose you have identified?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For each work, analyze audience:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Identify primary\/secondary audiences, as appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Identify all relevant audience characteristics and categories for each audience (i.e., knowledge level, personality, biases, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Explain your reasons for characterizing the audience the way you do (i.e., What\u2019s your evidence for your conclusions?).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Compare the two analyses:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Are the purposes the same for each work? Different? How do you know?<\/li>\n<li>Are the audiences the same for each work? Different?
