Download the One Page Schedule (*.pdf) or read it <a href=\"http:\/\/writeprofessionally.org\/content_manage\/schedule\/one-page-schedule\/\">online as one page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>All information is subject to change, but those changes will be clearly noted on the daily ONLINE schedule and communicated with you in class or via email.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each weekly page has three parts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Read for class:<\/li>\n<li>Do for class<\/li>\n<li>In class<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Read for class<\/strong><br \/>\nYou need to read this information for class because we will be using it or discussing it in some way.\u00a0 There will be some notations that say \u201cskim\u201d or \u201cread carefully.\u201d\u00a0 As you would imagine, \u201cskim\u201d means walk away with the general gist of what it says, while \u201cread carefully\u201d means exactly that. As a graduate course, I would think I don\u2019t need to do my song and dance about reading.\u00a0 Needless to say that if I ask you to read something then I have an expectation that you\u2019ll read it because I\u2019ve planned class around you having read it.<\/p>\n<p>If it becomes clear we are not reading, then we will start doing reading responses and quizzes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do for class<\/strong><br \/>\nThese are actual things you need to do\u2013sometimes it\u2019s to gather information, sometimes it\u2019s just really thinking about something in a directed way, sometimes it\u2019s generating questions, or sometimes it something else.\u00a0 In any case, these are specific action items that you need to do before class and be prepared to use them in class.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In class<\/strong><br \/>\nThis gives you an idea of what we\u2019ll actually be doing in class.
